Reminds me of a teacher that took me to the carnival in 2nd grade when my family did not have any money. She was always kind to me. 💕
This movie definitely makes you look at life and makes you face challenges that you don't want to..I loved it
Had me in tears ! Very inspiring story
Great movie, this is a sad movie with great ending!
Inspirational but it’s not for everyone. A little bit of violence content.
enjoyed the hero and the way he invested in the life of another
Super boring. Wasted 2 hours. Better time could have spent cleaning the gutters.
Beautiful story . Really inspirational for the teachers
Just an amazing movie! Just another touching story!

Really good movie. Slow pick up to get to the point but great real story.
Very good movie that helps a teen deal with trauma and emotional support.
Seeing the real photos at the end brought it home

Great story
Brave the Dark is a poignant drama that delves into the transformative power of kindness and resilience. Anchored by compelling performances from Jared Harris and Nicholas Hamilton, the film tells a heartfelt story of a teacher’s unwavering support for a troubled teenager. While it occasionally leans on familiar tropes, its emotional depth and message of hope make it a moving and inspiring watch.

Got 2 tickets for free, wasn’t expecting it to be that great but it was really good. Caught my attention, kept me interested, and I even shed a couple tears. Would recommend and give a good rating.

Wonderful movie!
Was an exceptional movie. Thank you!
No story plot dud
This is a beautiful film about the power of not giving up on people who screw up. The love we give to others may burn us, but we can’t give up on people. There is so much power in our capacity to care about others than there is to live selfishly. Great story and beautiful acting.
Grateful this story was shared.
Pretty good movie

Love the ending. It gives tears.
The movie is a beautiful reminder of how your sincere kindness can influence troubled youth to become true success stories. We should all have a teacher like Stan Deen, to lead our high school students.
Best movie I’ve seen awhile. Very moving emotional true story. Great acting. Highly recommend!
cheesy but admirable story line
Very inspiring film.
Unfortunately they cancelled the show
Metacritic
Fortunately, Brave the Dark does deliver an engaging and enjoyable narrative, with excellent performances, an intriguing and compelling plot, and an important message worth listening to.
Harris, as always, imbues his characters with a wearied conviction, which goes a long way towards making Stan feel a bit more layered than the feel-good Ned Flanders type the script saddles him with.
It’s a low-stakes, dramatically flat affair, a picture that never plucks the heartstrings it’s meant to.
