Tisha Campbell is one of the top three funniest people alive. Robin Givens is one of the top three hottest people alive. I don’t know why this is called Boomerang, especially if they weren’t gonna name Eddie’s character Marcus Boomerang.
demi adejuyigbeFeb 23, 2018Boomerang is a black romantic comedy triumph. It's the kind of film that you almost never see in theaters anymore, and that's a shame. The cast is stacked: Eddie Murphy, Robin Givens, Halle Berry, Eartha Kitt, David Allen Grier, Martin Lawrence and the incredible Grace…
jourdain searlesApr 18, 2020Strangé...it stinks so good. Obsessed with the fashion in this movie. THE COATS.

Eddie Murphy & Halle Berry were some of the most beautiful looking creatures to ever roam the earth in the 80's and 90's. Nobody can ever change my mind about that.
MarMarJun 6, 2024With Boomerang, Eddie came up with a story where his character gets to: * Sleep with characters played by Robin Givens, Tisha Campbell, Halle Berry, Lela Rochon, and Eartha Kitt * Spurn the advances of Grace Jones That’s a strong flex of your star power,…

First the fat boys break up and now this.Such a classic line. Oh and I would do anything to be with 90s Halle Berry.
nick atkinsonFeb 14, 2026I’m choosing Halle Berry in this movie over Robin Givens character it’s not close. 6/10 First Time Watched 2026
Keenan WellsSep 13, 2017Eddie Murphy does not single-handedly save this from its structural hackiness, but he does an incredible share of the work - full disclosure, I'm more interested in watching him attempt to do stuff in movies and not quite hit the mark than I am in seeing most movie stars do…

For the love of films watch this film. This is what we r gonna call a classic. A classic I watched a week ago. But a classic none the less. Eddie Murphy is one of a kind he is practically the renaissance of comedy. And needs to be studied. This how u fall in love with characters

I hate that the premise was so bland because the whole cast was great and there were some hilarious moments. Maybe another time it'll click more for me.
Although predictable, the cast is just so deep and there are some great moments of comic relief. Marcus was slow to come around.
