I can’t believe it took me this long to watch. Boogie Nights is now in my top 50 favorite films ever. It’s a masterpiece about the rise and fall of the porn industry but what makes it work so well is its character driven narrative about the people in the industry. I loved it
Matthew Rivera likedBoogie Nights6/10 idk what i was expecting watching a movie bout the porn industry but story seemed all over the place kinda like i expected it to be. some jumps and cuts had me feeling like whole scenes were cut out maybe i was goo shmacked while watching it tho 🤷♂️
Aidan White likedBoogie Nights8.7/10 i don’t rlly know how to feel about this movie it was kinda all over the place - there were times i thought it was a comedy only to see some of the darker sides of the industry - mark wahlberg was great and i didn’t realize how many big actors were actually in this too.

Freaking amazing film. I loved so so so much of it but not enough. So fun and I am so incredibly happy mark wahlberg is now a godly man. The perfect transition for him and I hope he thinks about it daily.

This marks the last first watch of PTA’s filmography, and what a film to get caught-up with. Boogie Nights was really not the film I was expecting, both in its raw approach to story, but also just the sheer energy the film has to it. Easily a contender for the best soundtrack in a film - banger…
Stefan likedBoogie NightsA tumultuous adventure that ends in a surprisingly wholesome manner. I watched this a while back, but didn’t really remember much. It’s a look into the superficiality of the porn industry and the crumbling facades of those in the business that are strongly contrasted by the powerful themes of…
leticia moulin is "meh" onBoogie NightsAchei q seria tipo um American pie,me surpreendeu quando vi que era sobre a história da industry’s porno, Ascenção e queda. Na maior Parte do filme fiquei”qq eu to vendo, qq ta acontecendo”. Sendo um filme dos anos 90, aonde tudo era mt sexualizado ate na tv aberta é bacan 6/10 ⭐️

This is a movie of such style and propulsive power, wittily conveying Jack Horner’s sophisticated dilemma as a film-maker and theoretician of adult content.

I'm not sure all of this works out as convincingly as Anderson intends in the movie's somewhat unsatisfying ending, but getting there is a wickedly enjoyable journey.
