I can’t believe it took me this long to watch. Boogie Nights is now in my top 50 favorite films ever. It’s a masterpiece about the rise and fall of the porn industry but what makes it work so well is its character driven narrative about the people in the industry. I loved it

Seeing Dirk Diggler plummet into a poor drug addict is one of the saddest yet entertaining things I have ever seen.
