This movie is NOT a modern day "9 to 5" kind of film, as the teaser trailer implies. (SPOILER ALERT) The 3 leading ladies do not team up against Roger Ailes. The elevator scene in the teaser trailer is the ONE AND ONLY TIME that all 3 leading ladies are together in the story. Their stories are pretty much separate from each other. The elevator is the only moment with all three and it plays exactly like the trailer, minus the actor and title text. It is a good thing the rest of the movie is funny and entertaining. Otherwise, I would have left the theater very angry!
It’s good if you like that type of movie
Positive outcome that needed to happen.
Loved the storyline
Uneven but mesmerizing
very interesting. learned alot of the situation. was uncomfortable to watch at times but dealt with the topic well. it felt a bit like a jab at trump, Fox news, all the people at support them, and Republicans in general. I don't know how well that will be received in the general audience. but I liked it
Really good. Worth seeing.
Worth seeing to understand everything that went down
A great movie!
Very eye-opening look at the office pressures and harrasment of women at Fox News. It kept my attention. Great cast.
This is a good movie, not great. It's worth seeing because: 1. It's a true story that everyone should know 2. The acting is excellent 3. It will hold your interest the entire movie So definitely go to see it.
Well acted. Well written. Well presented. Told the truth about a real issue. Bravo!
Great movie with a top notch cast. Breathtaking
Did a great job with this movie.
This was a really good movie. Never cared for Megan Kelly however now I have a new respect for her
It was a great movie however they could’ve delved more into the allegations.
Great story that needs to be told. Glad this movie was made. Wish it went into the aftermath of the scandal more.
it's ironic how this movie is about harrasment and abuse of human rights, but it's infuriating show the writers in this so called movie use the name of Our Lord and Saviour JESUS Christ in vain! Have some respect!!!!
Didn't know much about the subject matter, but was educated on it throughout the movie. Charlize was her usual stellar self, Margot shined, but Nicole Das bland.
Phenomenal film of a true story! Casting, direction, story were all magnificent. Can't recommend highly enough!
Very emotional and truthful movie that must be seen.
I enjoyed the movie. It’s the start of sexual expectations from a male dominated workplace in order for women to advance.
it was a great movie. powerful for women that usually dont have courage to speak up for their own rights & beliefs.
So incredibly powerful! Thank you to the amazing cast that brought this story to the screen. To the women that came forward...so proud of you!! Brava!!!
Great movie. It was interesting, but kinda slow at times.
I was hesitant to go see this movie because I thought it would be boring, but it was everything but boring! I loved it! It really makes you think about what some women go through on a daily basis at work and in positions in a mans world. Very inspiring.
Well told dramatization of the caustic atmosphere at Fox News.
Too political and bias!
Theron, Kidman, Lithgow all great! Accurate depiction.
Not very good
Gives light to how women have been treated, scared and repressed in the workforce. I remember the story leaking, it was a nice refresher more than just the news story we heard.
Margot Robbie is amazing
Great story, great actors, absolutely loved it!
This is a must see movie for all you Trump supporters!!
so happy this film was made
It was ok - glad to see this story being told
Loved the movie! Great cast, well done!
A true must watch the best way to understand such a sick problem
It's a story that needed to be told. It disgusts me as to think how many stories there are that haven't been told
I read all about this in the news papers..the movie brought it all together, great acting & story.
I don’t know if this is a compliment or not, but I spent the whole movie trying to force myself to see Charlize Theron and not Meghan Kelly. It was distracting because of how well she portrayed her. Is there such thing as portraying someone too well?
The actors throw themselves into their roles with terrific zeal, enlivened by the often blunt dialogue and the issues at stake.
Despite an overly polished and broad approach, the film is ultimately a persuasive portrait, guided by strong performances from Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman as anchors who decide they can stay silent no longer.
Whatever beliefs they may hold about other people’s humanity, I’m glad these women finally received justice from the network that wronged them. I’m just not sure that translates into wanting to spend two hours in their company.
