The biopic genre is very complicated due to the difficulty to narrate real life events and unfortunately I think this film could’ve done more justice to Bob Marley. Kingsley Ben-Adir completely disappears into the role, he was the ideal choice to play Bob Marley. Lashana…
LucasFeb 8, 2024during this movie, you will come to a point where you ask yourself, “there’s no way they can show that shot of little Bob running through a burning field again, right?” and then, just as soon as the thought finishes crossing your mind, you will be proven wrong. multiple…

Was I the only one that thought it was too short? “Music will run like river”
Underwhelming and uninformative. A lot of music biopics feel fake, and this fits right in. The production felt good, same with the cinematography, but it's nothing great. The acting from Kingsly felt so put on it took me out of several scenes. The whole 'biopic' side was so unbalanced. It dragged…

Lots of weed. (edit: this isn’t the reason i gave the film a meh score, chill)
This very average biopic could’ve appeared on Netflix straight to streaming. Kingsley Bin-Adir was the one bright spot and the obvious choice for the role. Does not do the great revolutionary songwriter any justice. complicated, poorly, written, and overall forgettable.
Have always been a fan of Bob Marley since I was introduced to Three Little Birds when I was a kid which got me into his other songs in my high school years (lovee the Uprising album & No Woman, No Cry’s live version!!) but admittedly I kinda slacked on truly learning about what Marley was…

I had a great time with this biopic but I got to say that I was surprised when it ended because it didn’t feel long enough. Maybe it’s because the pacing was pretty quick throughout the movie but it just felt too short to me. Kingsley Ben-Adir absolutely crushes it in this role
Kingsley killed his role. The pace of the movie seemed rather quick to me.The movie hit most of bobs popularized songs and quickly showed the meaning behind them. Also I don’t know if it was just the theatre volume/ speech pace but man I needed subtitles😂. 7.6/10

Needs Needs Needs Subtitles! can't understand anything.
SRStacey RegistreI love the emphasis and the realistic feeling of the film. It brings you into story and the emotions throughout his life.
CBChris BrownShould have been amazing. But it lacked a thorough story telling of Bob Marley’s life. And lacked an emphasis on his music. What I really took away was that someone tried to shoot him, he went to a different country, had an argument with his wife, and came back to Jamaica.…

Great movie from beginning to end. I ❤️ how the movie told the ❤️ story between Marley & Rita.
JTJohnathan TangWith a cast as amazing as this one, I don't understand how the script can be at the level that makes it so that I cannot invest in any of the characters at all. This makes the story dull and very boring.
JHJason HansenLeft me wanting so much more. Couldn’t understand the actors at least 75% of the time their accent was so thick….

Marley truly proved music can make peace and change the world. Thank you Bob Marley and the Wailers.
FWFranchester WilliamsI was not disappointed!!! Can’t wait to watch it again!
BMBernisha MooreBOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE was depicted in a way that made you feel like you were actually a part of the concerts, the conversations, the revolution. The representation was well thought out and left you with so many messages. Everything I thought I knew about Bob was debunked,…
