Going into this, I never really understood the fascination with Dylan. I acknowledge the influence, but didn’t understand the appeal. After watching this, I’m even more confused. While I love the fly-on-the-wall style, Dylan comes across as completely detached and insufferable
more so a collection of perfectly filmed moments from dylan’s life rather than a meticulous or heavily edited documentary. of course he’s an excellent songwriter, but what a philosopher; insightful, intelligent, and interesting, a must-watch for fans of good music
