Feeling pretty hollowed out after this one. Brief and simultaneously intense in a way that really stung. Kieron Moore is a gem
KarstenMay 3, 2026A truly audacious film. I have not been this shocked in a cinema in a long time, it felt awesome. It is very well-directed, the script is invisible, the actors are incredible, it is so captivating and it was panned by so many festivals and distributors. I heard one…

Made Pillion feel like Love, Simon.
John BooneAug 16, 2025an incredible tightrope act that this manages to pull off. here’s a film that has the guts to make audiences sit with their discomfort – provocative yet deeply mesmerising in the way it takes unspeakable taboos and splits them wide open. i know it’s cliché to describe a…
ianaJun 26, 2026Insanely captivating and harrowing. I couldn’t look away for even a second. The entire movie felt like two people in a shaken glass bottle filled with pressure. I saw a lot online about how this movie was vulgar and crass but without boundary pushing and the willingness to…

Too uncomfortable to say much but the actors really acted the house down. I can’t wait to never watch this again 🥰
MacDoesItJun 15, 2026interview with the pedophile. great movie but a hard watch. it’s a highly provocative and uncomfortable film and i’m lowkey surprised it even got made at all.
Happypumpkin18Oct 11, 2025For 82 minutes all I could hear was Julia Roberts whispering behind me, saying “Not everything is supposed to make you feel comfortable.”

Unsettling, cerebral, quiet, uncomfortable, challenging, unexpected, singular. Quite unlike anything else I’ve seen depicted in film. Artful overall, a thoughtful, nuanced exploration of the most disturbing subject matter you can imagine.
This might be the most interesting movie I’ve ever seen. As well as the most uncomfortable. I don’t think I’ve ever seen honest nuanced conversation about the things they talk about in this movie, not just depicted in film, but like anywhere ever. This is the kind of movie that I can’t fully review…

This isn’t an enjoyable watch, but it’s a well-made one. The acting was excellent and the film forces difficult conversations without excusing the behavior. It’s disturbing from start to finish and leaves you with a lot to think about.
This was such an interesting movie for me because it honestly made me sick to my stomach but I also related to the queer aspect of it. 8/10 wouldn’t watch again tho for my own mental health👍
