We finally have a Mexican superhero!!! 5 stars. Great movie, geared towards the Latino community, but anyone will enjoy it. Great sound track. Jorge Lopez was annoying at the beginning of the movie, but he had me laughing my azz off hallway through. P.S. Granny is a bad azz!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

this movie is littered with stereotypical Mexican jokes. im Asian, but i don't know how Mexican person can watch this and not be offended. it's clearly trying to connect with the Latin American audience but it comes across as comical and bad. that being said, the action scenes were mediocre and I don't know it was hard for me to watch with the constant Mexican jokes and bad acting

honestly, I love this movie and how it represents the Hispanic and Latino community and the moments with the dad and the son and the villain's flashback made me and my little nephew cry honestly I loved this movie. 💙

the first 30 plus minutes was boring. In my opinion, the jokes weren't as funny as people made them out to be, but it definitely picks up about 45 minutes into the movie. solid movie, though, best DC movie, not named batman or Superman

I loved it. Family had doubts bc of some ppl’s reviews. By the end they kept saying how good it was, and that they ALL rated it a 10/10!! The whole theater stayed cracking up at the jokes AND actually clapped at the end. Had me laughing, gave some action goosebumps, and had me choking up. I don’t get the feels often, but I had a lump in my throat at some parts for the family messages. Regardless of if you feel it was “stereotypical latino”.. If you get it, you get it. Representation matters. It’s not all of us, but It was so nice to see familiar home decor, our ppl’s humor, our language, our deep familial love shown on the screen. I could see how it needed more with the origin backstory. The Kord villain wasn’t fearsome. I personally wanted more to the main character intro so you got more hooked on him. Gave a Venom/Spider-man/Iron Man, Spy Kids tech mash. This movie felt like it was for US🤞🏼or that I could get powers too lol My family is definitely waiting for a sequel!!

Went to see this for $4. But it’s a full price movie for me! I would’ve paid 10 for a night out! Cast is perfect, humor is on point, action is great and well directed. Whoever’s been rating this badly is completely biased. This movie is heartwarming and funny to boot, don’t miss out on this. 10/10
