THE DEVIL WEARS BAVA
matt lynchSep 27, 2020I swear this movie has colors I’ve never seen before in my life. Maybe it was just a pigment of my imagination.
CinemaVoid 🏴☠️Jul 17, 2020A stunningly beautiful pioneer of a picture. This one has it all—an ominous killer, swanky soundtrack, a gaggle of models getting picked off, sexist pig men, brutal deaths, and the colors... my god the colors. It’s all here, a template for the next wave of lurid sleaze…

Why aren't movies allowed to look like this anymore? Very fun, although I did have some trouble following the plot on account of everybody looking exactly the same.

Incredible. Bava at the top of his game with the cinematography and narrative storytelling. This movie is even better if you happen to watch it during a thunderstorm. I cannot encourage this movie enough, especially if you are a fan of the giallo subgenre. Like reading a mystery
