An absolute gem! Blonde Ransom blends the crime picture with musical comedy with great success. Pinky Lee is hilarious in his proto—Pee Wee role and the musical numbers are charming. The closing wedding song is particularly memorable.

Movies were so awesome, a guy would get into a huge horrific car accident and then wake up in a blonde's bed and be like "myehh I could get used to this"

The supporting characters make this film worthwhile.  The old uncle and his butler are hilarious and low key gay. Pinky Lee is great as the sidekick. Can see how he influenced the Pee Wee Herman character.
