Thank you Michael Waltrip, Dale Jr. for sharing your hearts & story with us❣️❣️
We were at the Daytona 500 when this happened.
Loved seeing & hearing these events from Waltrip's perspective! A tear jerker for sure but so raw from all aspects!
Great to see the whole inside story from the people that were closest to Dale when he drove away into the sunset at Daytona in 2001. Thank you for making this film.
I lived thru this-I was on the edge of my seat, there wasn’t a dry eye in the theater, tells the story of a true Friendship & glad I got to see this!
Very emotional. A must for a NASCAR fan of the 90's.
Any NASCAR fan should see it. Moving story. Bring your Kleenex!
Pure and real emotions. Loved it
Only thing missing was Kevin Harvick who replaced Dale after his death. I would have liked to learn more about his thoughts. Besides that, GREAT film!
Amazing true story! We enjoyed it even though it was a tearjerker!
Michael Waltrip is one of the most inspiring people I’ve ever met and a total sweetheart. My husband Scott and I loved this movie to pieces!
The movie theater canceled the movie I was crushed. I have no clue of any other ways I can watch it.
Such an incredible story of friendship and amazing people. There’s laughter and a lot of tears but no one could write a better story than this true one.
Very good
Very Well done..! Nice story of how this event affected so many lives..
For serious NASCAR fans!
Nice insight to Earnhardt and M Waltrip. Golden age of Nascar.
Would have been a lot better if person 3 seats down wouldn’t have brought their 1 yr old that kept whining the entire time
I knew the basic facts of the story. I had no idea how close Michael and Dale were as friends. I can't wait till it's released so I can own it at home and watch it again
If you love Dale Earnhardt and Michael Waltrip, then you MUST see the docu/movie! A wonderful tale of true friendship!
Metacritic
The interactions between these real-life characters are here recalled with fondness and rue by the surviving participants. Taublieb’s approach is straightforward, but also a little pedestrian.
Waltrip’s earnest and forthright narration lends Blink of an Eye its intimacy and insight.
That points to the biggest shortcoming of Blink of an Eye. It’s a seriously unchallenging documentary, one that has no contrary voices suggesting why Waltrip never won before Earnhardt took him on (More hard luck? Nobody says so, nobody asks.) and as it lapses into hagiography, borders on “NASCAR Sanctioned” and “Official Myth-Burnishing.”
