better than the first
Definitely A 10/10 Very creepy scary And Funny All In One.!
So good gave nightmare on elm street + sinister + insidious vibes
Nightmare on Elm street meets sinister. Very solid sequel
Was a nice sequel to part 1. A couple cheesy parts but overall decent film.
Movie was great only thing I wish we would have gotten was more scenes with the grabber.
The first one was so good and it didn’t even meet half the expectations.
10/10 would watch again
Worth a watch
Was a pretty good sequel.
Going again it was everything
It just wasn’t as good as the 1st one they could of done a lot better with this one and just didn’t
It may have outdid the first one!
Eager to watch the first one
much scarier than the first one. i loved it tho, was on my toessssss towards da end
WOOOOOOW
While I enjoyed the first one more, I did appreciate this one. It felt a bit “Nightmare on Elm Street” at times but not in a cheap way. Overall, really great.
it was a perfect movie
A awesome movie, See the first though
No estuvo tan buena , esperaba algo mucho mejor.
So like it’s a long movie and could have tied it more together but yeah good ok movie
Absolutely loved it
Trash
Some scenes were heart-pounding but overall felt too slow and mediocre. The relationships between the characters were pretty heart-warming though
I loved everything about it except Madeleine McGraw. Either she’s a terrible actress or this was not a good fit for her bc i couldnt take her seriously.
Mid
Predictable
Didn’t like it
Eh I found it boring. First movie I ever fell asleep to in a theatre. Wasn’t terrible and I could see why some ppl would like it.
Worst movie I’ve watched and I’ve watched a lot of bad movies
It wasn’t bad I liked the first one more but it wasn’t bad
Intense!!!
Solid movie
Metacritic
If The Black Phone dabbles in crimes that are taboo, even unforgivable in its depiction of brutality against innocent children, Black Phone 2 commits its own unforgivable crime of being dreadfully boring. This movie is a snooze — and not just because all of the action takes place entirely during Gwen’s dreams.
The sequel loses the small-scale, intense focus in favor of The Conjuring-level supernatural effects and action. At its best, it’s much scarier than the first movie. But it also comes with a level of full-on action-goofiness that Derrickson and Cargill avoided in Black Phone.
A complaint that’s also common to contemporary horror films nags at The Black Phone 2, in that all of the best things about this movie come from other movies, whether they be the creative team’s previous efforts or iconic titles from decades past.
