the only healthy relationships in this movie are: the gay one, the lesbian one, and the one where the guy is being cucked. vanilla heterosexuality is presented as a nightmare. ten stars

i want to be the couple that hangs a tapestry from home on their wall for a 48 hour stay but i know i'm parker posey with adult braces screaming about a bumblebee chew toy...
emiDec 10, 2020every time twitter remembers who catherine o'hara is no one mentions her most iconic role as cookie fleck, who had hundreds of boyfriends and stuck her nametag to her bare cleavage instead of her shirt. her wobbly leg kills me every time

I still think the Bloodhound should have been The Best In Show.

noraAug 22, 2017I'm sorry, but comedy will never surpass a woman having a meltdown over a dog at the airport because he won't react to his Busy Bee toy.

Really funny movie. It’s a mockumentary, and the biggest flaw is that I do think there were some scenes that were EXTREMELY ramble-y to the point that they weren’t funny anymore. It also uses the classic comedy strat of just trying a million jokes and hoping some of them land. However, in the…
I found this hilarious. I love the casting, it is literally perfect. I never knew that it was all improv, that they are just given the scene and then improv the lines. My favorite is probably either Jennifer Coolidge, Eugene Levy, or Parker Posey who was crazy awesome 😎

The mockumentary format was interesting, the ensemble cast works well, creating bizarre but oddly relatable characters. While some parts felt slow, the film’s unique style and wit made it enjoyable overall. A solid, entertaining watch with personality.
If you like slap stick comedy don’t watch this film! The jokes are sarcastic at times, slap at times, and sophisticated at times!! Throughout though are LAUGHS! Watch it once, twice, or three times and you will catch another joke!

a hilarious comedy film strung together with chaotic cinematography, ingenious improvisation, and perfect casting. entertaining throughout with great jokes and characters, the gay ones being particular highlights
8.4/10 hysterical comedy writing in this movie and awesome character work by all of the main actors in this movie - such a funny concept that has no business being so damn hilarious

Just isn't as fresh, focused or uniformly funny as Waiting for Guffman.
It's got enough hilarious moments that, all in all, the film's bite is as toothsome as its bark.
When it's funny, Best is hilarious.
