Remake but not that close to the Heston vehicle. Interesting character interplay with Jesus and the various characters. The underlying theme of forgiveness makes for interesting introspection. All in all, I would recommend this movie for the faith kiddies involved.

Not as biblical as you may think, an amazing movie that is definitely worth the watch. Will have you on the edge of your seat

This movie is different from the Golden Age Ben Hur with Heston. Same plot but in a different perspective. It's a great movie and would watch it many more times.
