Atom User Reviews for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Good action. Affleck did a pretty good job as Bruce/Batman. Cavill did Superman well. Jeremy Irons as Alfred was pretty cool; good part for him. The dream sequences were. . .interesting. Cameos kind of felt forced. Not a bad picture, far better than what I expected. Great time to be a comic book fan, and great time for them all at the movies.
There's a clip after the credits...
not sure... it was good but...
I loved it but was sad at the end.
#bestBatman
The ending was a little disappointing but the movie overall was great!!
should have done another batman movie or two leading up to this point in batman's life
Effects were great but how they portrayed Batman was a total miss
superman can beat batman stop acting like batman is tough
loved the movie. going to see it again
Although there was a lot of moving parts in this movie. If you have ever picked up a comic book regarding the justice league, this was a great start to the series.
Greatest Batman Movie EVER!!!
The movie was a disappointment to me as a Batman fan, when did he start killing people?
Really enjoyed this alot more than I thought I would.
it was a great movie
I really wish there was a standalone Ben Affleck Batman movie prior to this one. It would have made the movie flow much better, in my opinion. It also caught me off guard how dark Affleck's portrayal of Batman is. Even though I am not the biggest fan of this new harsh and dark Batman, I found both Ben Affleck's and Henry Cavill's acting superb. However, I found the character of Lex Luthor to be too jittery and felt like he did not blend in well with the depressing atmosphere. It was almost as if Jesse Eisenberg tried too hard to be "psychotic." Overall, I would give this film 4 stars out of 5, praising it for its beautiful visuals, real-life feel, and its beautiful set-up for The Justice League film series in the DCEU.
There was too much drama and not enough action. Was worrying about setting up future movies instead of focusing on the want to hand. Poorly done. Reaction from leaving the movie theater immediately. I wish I would've waited until this was on video.
good movie
the film was overall amazing,
must goooo
Wonder Woman was the best part.
if you are a fan of batman and superman you are in for a heck of a treat.Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eiseinburg gave exellent performancesand as for Affleck is easily the best batman I ever seen on screen.I believe that it sets up the justice league up very well and as well as their other stand alone movies.I can't wait for Warner Brothers upcoming DCEU movies.
It was disappointing to see a movie I was so pumped about flop. It's like they weren't even trying. The story was hard to follow. The scenes were choppy. The reason they were fighting was dumb. And Lex Luthor was probably the worst thing about this movie. He was just a knock off Heath Ledger Joker.
Wow, just wow
it's cool bro. it's cool bro. it's cool bro. it's cool bro. bro. it's cool. cool bro. cool.
Huge build up to an underwhelming finale. Best part for me was Wonder Woman.
Affleck was amazing and I loved this movie
Loved it great story line, taken right outta the comics!
Decent movie. A little slow, but that's to be expected all the different characters and elements being established. DC should have had one or two more movies establishing their cinematic universe before this one.
lots of story line, I figured it would open up a long line of DC movies.
with less justice league setup it wouldve been great
great flick, every comic fan must see
Too much for one movie but still enjoyed every minute.
Great fight scenes, a Lot of talking. Still worth admission
it was ight
major slugfest of biblical proportions!
Awesome movie, I don't see why people didn't like it
Eisenberg made the movie 10 times better!
amazing movie
Dude!!!!!!!!
Happy that the two wound up on same side.
Ben Afleck is a bad Batman
Left me wanting more. If you are a fan of Frank Miller's Dark Knight then you need to see this movie.
didn't like it
it was a really great movie
Great to see wonder woman in the film!!!!
Jumped around too much. unexplained dream sequences, too cluttered
Ben Affleck surpassed all my expectations! He made an awesome Batman
love it
This movie was long and awful. It made no sense, and was generally just a waste of three hours of my life.
Metacritic
Batman v Superman lacks the levity (forced or otherwise) of a typical Marvel Universe entry. But Snyder's superpowered epic does have a sense of import and grandeur about it.
Batman V Superman takes a title fight kids of all ages have been speculating about for decades—costumed titan from the cosmos, meet costumed vigilante from the city—and invests it with all the fun of a protracted custody battle.
There’s enough going on to keep you watching — and, as I said, to keep fanboys wowed by the scale of the production and pretension. But most people will leave feeling drained and depressed, wondering how a studio can get away with withholding so much.
