6.6 - it’s campy & everything about it is unhinged: the costumes, the hair/makeup, the dialogue, the acting from Devito, Pfeiffer, and Walken, & the Tim Burton-ness of the whole thing. It’s also dark thematically. But it’s shallow (esp MK) & far from the “Batman” I picture.

Personally, this Batman movie is the best ever. The cast is fantastic. The mood of every scene in this film is dark, creepy and reminds me so much of the comics. And then Michelle Pfeiffer. Her transition into Catwoman and the way she portrays her: is chefs kiss for me. Best ever

Platypus Lord is "meh" onBatman ReturnsTim Burton movie thru & thru - super bizarre & quirky. The music & aesthetic are a strong suit, and DeVito is really entertaining as the Penguin. But the story & characters left me pretty uninterested, and the entertainment value comes mostly from it being goofy & off the rails.
