There's something maniacally impressive about a movie where the only good performance comes from a screaming flesh basketball.

A tale of love gone both right and wrong within and without a family. How monsters are defined, not born. How good intentions sometimes cannot divert disaster. Why letting your ex-conjoined twin talk you into a campaign of murderous revenge is more than likely a terrible…
nathaxnne [goodbye <3]Jun 5, 2023Some of the worst acting I've ever seen. I love this movie.
JBSep 4, 2024Still amateur low budget horror filmmaking perfection from Frank-the-Tank Henenlotter. The awesome effects, the insane performances, the seedy NYC atmosphere, everything is so genuine and endearing. The scalpels-in-the-face scene gets me every time, too; incredible visual…

An absurdly gross and grimy no-budget splatter movie about conjoined twin brothers (one a normal upstate dork, the other a murderous meatball attached to his abdomen) forcefully separated from each other by (and getting revenge on) their abusive father and a collection of…

Blue GhostsJul 27, 2021Came for the gory flesh puppet rampage, stayed for the weirdly tragic brotherly drama. There’s just nothing like that sleazy, grainy 16mm atmosphere, love the variety of colorful NYC characters throughout too.

cheesy and campy ridiculous movie with bad acting that is so fun to laugh at 💀 the premise is goofy but they back it up with some pretty impressive effects all things considered some uncomfortable moments and A LOT of screaming but i enjoyed myself overall
sometimes i give myself the creeps sometimes my mind plays tricks on me it all keeps adding up i thinking i’m cracking up am i just paranoid or am i just stoned (never seen this i just wanted to say that)
some questionable moments, but is to be expected from a schlocky 80s horror film-- it's good fun, especially when they're showing off those practical effects. wildly impressive for the budget, filled with enough unique ideas to compliment its otherwise cliched plot points. 5.5/10

The Acting was atrocious lmao, practical effect and claymation were kind of cool. It’s a cool concept, but wasn’t executed that great. Didn’t like a lot of the scenes, like the SA scene. I found some bits funny, but for the most part didn’t really like it or enjoy it. 2/10
Despite the director saying he was trying to make a comedy, I don’t believe he was. Maybe with the sequels but not with the original. Despite the passion, it’s so bad it’s good. Everything’s amateurish, especially the performances. It’s unintentionally hilarious.

What a weird movie. This isn’t actually meant to be scary…right?! I chuckled several times so I didn’t hate it, but I don’t need to watch it again…Also, there are two more?! Oh man!
Very interesting idea but just couldn’t get into it. Maybe you will enjoy it more than I did. I respect it for what it means to the Horror Community
