Needed more Kevin Hart, and by more I mean more than the literal 5 minutes of screen time he gets in the beginning and then is never before seen. Tiffany Haddish's voice over also just needs to quit. I did get a few laughs out of this so it at least earns a 1 star, but…
Tyler WhitmoreDec 15, 2023I hope Tiffany Haddish earned a second payout for all voice over work she needed to do to clean up this mess! Painfully unfunny and at almost two hours long, I’d rather just watch these old men strip than sit through this torture again!
Dave TaylorAug 18, 202312:45 pm Me: Can we have Magic Mike? Mom: We have Magic Mike at home. Magic Mike at home: This movie was three and a half hours long. Worst pacing of all time. I can’t believe this got put in theaters. I was actually laughing multiple times because the production quality…

>100 WITH #2 (Backlogging marathon) The blacker version of MAGIC MIKE. I wanted to see more of Tiffany Haddish in this besides background narration and brief cameos of sorts... her backstory and such potentially had the best emotional punch here. I guess this one was…
Lynn BettsDec 12, 2024Gotta be honest, I only watched this as a joke that went horribly awry. It went awry in that I ended up watching the whole thing. (Ba-Dum Bum) Zak was saying how his company worked on the marketing for this, and I was like "Well then why I haven't I ever heard of this one?"…
mattstechelJan 14, 2025You see this cast and wonder why this wasn’t promoted or anything and then you watch and realize why no one knew this existed

You see, he has a big penis, and there are old male strippers, that’s the entire joke, which the whole movie dragged out for almost two painful hours.
🏴Aaron🇵🇭Aug 19, 2023I don't agree with the peanut gallery very often but agreeably not great. Pros: the cast is stacked: Tiffani Haddish, Wesley Snipes, Kevin Hart, JB Smoove, Faison Love and more. It has a few funny moments There's your two stars from there it goes down hill Cons: poorly…

I don’t get all the hate for this movie. Yes it’s predictable but so what. It’s fun and it has some great parts that outweighs the bad parts. Just go into it ready to have some fun and not take the movie too seriously!
Projecting Film dislikedBack on the StripThere are multiple attempts to shame a magician for having a large penis. The chosen profession is questionable I’ll admit BUT…

Despite some amusing moments, it never really takes off, burdened by a tiresome romantic subplot that periodically stops the movie dead in its tracks.

Back on the Strip is qualitatively somewhere between a mid-level Saturday Night Live cash-in movie and a '90s indie comedy where the cast greatly outclasses the screenplay.

A bawdy comedy about male strippers that lives up to mediocre expectations, Back On the Strip is directed and co-written by Chris Spencer who has previously worked with the Wayan Brothers comedy team.
