This is the only kids movie I've seen that references the Cuban Missile Crisis and that's how you know it's good

It was a really cute movie, my favorite character is grand Santa cuz he is just unfiltered. It was really funny Christmas movie overall.
I always remembered finding this pretty funny and kind of clever. I think if I rewatched it now I'd still at least think it was cute. Dec. 2023 Rewatch: 👍👍 This movie is just really sweet. Made my wife and I cry now that were parents. Way funnier than I remembered, with clever writing. …

Really liked this movie. It had a pretty basic story that wasn’t surprising but, I really liked the ending. The only thing that kinda bugged me is that Santa didn’t care about the little girl not getting her present. It didn’t feel like Santa but its a enjoyable Christmas movie.

Santa is just a concept here. The idea that he is a magical being is hidden behind them just simply being humans. And although it is interesting to see that in a child’s movie, it did cause the storyline to be very messy. Yet, it was still a decent movie. Bryony carried. 6.5/10
This is my favourite Christmas movie of all time. I might be biased because this is the first movie I remember watching in the cinema as a kid but Arthur making sure every child receives their present from Santa is so endearing. The ending makes me cry which is rare for me.
