Atom User Reviews for Apollo 11
The hair on the back of my neck stood up during launch. Tears came during landing. It was perfect. See it in IMAX!
Very interesting and great choice of footage to get the experience of the time and event. I wish there was a little more on the science and math that was being recorded and the monitoring process....but very well done overall.
Simply put, Wow!
Especially great in IMAX
Lived through this time as a young boy... it was so awesome to re-live it and actually see it from the Astronauts prospective...Go see it... you will want to stand up an applaud
Simply super
brings back memories of things I forgot about, transiter radios.
God bless America
Some amazing footage, but a fairly uninteresting doc all together.
GREAT and INSPIRING film, you’ll leave the theater proud of what we can accomplish as a nation when we tap our vast resources and brain power. Even though you think you know the story of Apollo 11, you’ll see it from different viewpoints and marvel at what a feat that was in 1969, considering the available technology at the time. BRING THE SCHOOL AGE KIDS, they’ll learn so much and hopefully be inspired to reach new heights in education and in life. 🇺🇸 🔭🚀

It’s a celebratory movie designed to rekindle awe and admiration for the accomplishments of the NASA astronauts and ground scientists, as well as a reminder of the endless realms of possibility that can be achievable when a country and its politicians work in unison toward a shared goal.
Breathtaking and definitive, Apollo 11 avoids voice-over narration or overly-explaining anything about America’s date with destiny in July of 1969. If we aren’t old enough to remember it, we’re supposed to know it. It’s in our DNA.
Miller is after immediacy, not reflection or explanation.
