The way she says to her father in the crowd, "Dad... Tony Bennett" when he's presenting her the Grammy. When she finally meets with him and it's unglamorous and she says "I just don't want to be wasting your time", and he has to comfort her and calm her down, "I have…

Slow down, you're too important. she was. she really was.
Leah 🥀Jul 22, 2015The best found-footage horror movie of the year, which also just so happens to be a fiercely perceptive documentary about a great artist laid low by enablers and a host of mental problems. If you've ever thought it might be nice to be famous, even for a little while, AMY…
Matt SingerJun 30, 2020I thought it was a very interesting choice to skip showing interviews, and use nothing but archival footage over them. I wasn’t really sure what the reasoning for that was at first, until I realized this documentary is 100% dedicated to the story of Amy Winehouse. There…

10/10 A true tragedy. Self destruction, bad decisions, and cruel media killed an angel. She deserved so much better, this documentary is straight forward and blunt in a good way. It depicts how sad her story truly was and it’s a tough one to watch, May she rest in peace.
Sad how everything ended. Her parents could have done so much more to help. All the signs everything she said to her mom. It was there. She just wanted her father attention and when she ask about rehab him saying she didn’t need it. Sad just awful she needed help.

the whole documentary was eye opening, and created a post humorous story for amy winehouse- one that would ensure so many people understand her frustration, anguish, fear, and hopelessness, and yet her love and compassion for so many.
wow this made me cry, i wish there were people that could’ve helped her more like all the warning signs were there it’s just people around her kept feigning ignorance i almost crashed out at the way her father acted
