amélie made that boy chase her around the whole city without speaking a single word to him and all she wanted was to kiss him on the eyelid and that’s the most me thing i’ve ever seen i would die for this movie
eelySep 9, 2017oh my god. this made me so soft. I'm softer than an ikea blanket. I will never yell at anyone ever again. I will only tell them that at least they'll never be a vegetable, even artichokes have hearts.

Like taking a walk on a nice sunny day. My heart is absolutely soaring. This movie is so warm and full of hope and joy. I don't think there was a single moment where there wasn’t a smile on my face. Life is beautiful.
The seventh movie I saw for my film class… such a cute film seeing Amélie helping everyone she could, while also finding love.

Nice heartwarming comforting movie. The cinematography was great, with the signature yellowish warm camera effect, which could be seen to reflect Amelie’s characters warm feel. The movie shows the nice scenery in Paris with a relatable character. Great foreign film.
i hate amélie's personality, bro just go and talk, she is very annoying and weird, sorry but this movie is overrated 3/10

The barometer for whether you'll enjoy Am#233;lie is whether you liked Moulin Rouge last summer. If snappy visuals, tangy colors, mood-drenched scenery, and a good-hearted heroine make you as happy as a box of Parisian chocolates, it's definitely for you.
A feather-light meringue of a romance to remind us there will always be a Paris.
Amelie is joie de vivre in a nougat.
