When future 5 time academy award nominee Michelle Williams hit Mark Wahlberg with the telephone... I felt that
DanDec 19, 201753 Mostly middle-of-the-road Ridley, but it's nothing less than consistently involving and self-serious, woven with an ensemble of fantastic performances. Craft is the key, however, as Scott's expressive, kinetic frames make the most out of wealthy spaces and period…
SilentDawnDec 18, 2017A BAD YEAR Never less than intriguing (if wildly fictionalized), but Scott's second movie this year that isn't really interested in what it's ostensibly about, which is an admittedly toothless message about how capital makes hostages of us all, blah blah blah. What this…

As I was walking out of the theater this lady comes up to me and says “did you have a nice nap?” because apparently I was snoring so loud people stopped paying attention to the movie and just started laughing at me. That’s all you need to know about this film.
stevieJan 1, 2018Italy looks great even when people are getting their ears cut off there!
Patrick WillemsDec 16, 2017Unfortunately both stagnant as a thriller and underdeveloped as a drama. The premise is decently promising, with an interesting story somewhere to be told about the influence of power and money on not only the decisions made by the rich, but also on the presentation of that…

PROPOSAL: All future Ridley Scott movies should be produced *in their entirety* under the time and budget constraints he had for the Christopher Plummer reshoots.
Griffin NewmanJan 15, 2018I just feel like if you're going to do the reshoots anyway, you may as well replace mark wahlberg with someone who can act while you're at it

In 1986, Mark Wahlberg and friends chased and threw rocks at a group of Black children while yelling the N-word. In 1988, he assaulted two Vietnamese men on the same day during an attempted theft, injuring one and striking the other with a stick while yelling racial slurs.

Interesting film, I was a bit disgusted by the ear, but oh well. And it was truly shocking. But oh well, as the saying goes: it all revolves around money.
Actually a very good and interesting movie to watch. They did a great job especially being a true story.

Not suspenseful as advertised
RCReuben Correait was a very traumatic movie, very suspenseful. i actually had an anxiety attack and got physically ill and had to leave the theater before the end of the movie. my legs went numb and I felt like I was having a medial emergency
DJDeAndre JacksonI enjoyed this movie and Christopher Plummer replaced Kevin Spacey in 7 days they were done re-shooting this I heard. He was a great fit and the original choice for the leading role to begin with.
