Great movie expect for the fact they decided to put a conversation about the movie before the movie that went on way to long and frustrated me since I came for a movie not a conversation about the movie. I will not see another release because of the fact they wasted my time…
it's so worth it to see it on the big screen. so many little details you miss otherwise. i even enjoyed the pre-movie conversation with Sir Ridley Scott.

Editors Terry Rawlings and Peter Weatherley cut the film so cleverly so that we never have a clear notion of what the alien actually looks like until the very last shots.
Just as Ripley is the female action hero against whom all others are judged, so the alien itself, brilliantly conceived by HR Giger and, equally brilliantly, concealed by Scott and kept in shadow for much of the film, is one of the most terrifying monsters in cinema history.
