This nigga Martin Lawrence directed and starred in a film where he gets with Regina King and Lynn Whitfield he not slick

Martin, Regina King, Lynn Whitfield, and Bobby Brown! The first half reminds me of Boomerang, and the second half is like a Paul Verhoeven movie. And even though it’s definitely problematic, I love it and can’t believe they never let Martin direct another movie.

porksweatsFeb 14, 2026This sort of played in front of me rather than became something I watched but the last fifteen minutes were cool when Lynn Whitfield had a gun. The rest? A little annoying having to look at a Martin Lawrence as a viable center of a love triangle but….always good to see…
