if you haven't seen the 1st movie, you might be confused but can be seen as a stand-alone
For my first time back in theaters since covid, I am extremely happy that this is the movie I got to come back to. Fantastic!

It was ok. Some REAL convenient things happen to save characters while other things make no sense. The characters also do some really dumb things in the movie. The first one was better.

This is a cinematic masterpiece. John has done it again. I thought I wouldn’t cry, but I indeed did. The movies connected flawlessly and it was action packed. Never a dull moment, my hand hurts from clenching so hard. I must have a quiet place 3

This film is a disappointment. It's not bad, but it's more of the same as the first one. Feel like they just combine cut footages of the first film and make it into a sequel.

This suspenseful thriller is filled with precision-tooled suspense even if it doesn't expand on the 2018 original as much as it could.
The hugely enjoyable second entry doesn’t lift the franchise to new artistic heights, a la The Empire Strikes Back, but Part II is every bit as good and scary as its predecessor, and the characters, especially the kids, go to deeper and braver places.
A Quiet Place Part II is filled with striking, clever details; it displays no sense whatsoever of the big picture. That failure is the difference between directing and just making a movie.
