Dollar store Keanu reeves with asthma. *eye roll* at the expected spiteful Dino showdown. Almost fell asleep on this one. The emotional parts were cringy. But the dinosaurs were cool. Jump scares we’re basically loud noises and screeching. I expected more.. ☹️
When it tries to be intense it gets it right, but when it tries to be emotional it misses just a bit. The story is pretty much what you’d expect, and the “dinosaurs” are somewhat creepy when used right. But they’re definitely not my favorite when it comes to design and how much they use them, which is barely. I somewhat expected more but for a dinosaur fan it’s still a pretty cool movie.
Absolutely LOVED this film! So original! Any scifi movie that features dinosaurs is awesome in my book and this is one of the better ones! Don't miss!
I think it should’ve had more backstory at the beginning
it could've been better
I really enjoyed this movie. it was full of action and the actors did a great job.
Great film, the character development was a little rushed but the overall film was exciting to watch and gives you a different feel from any other dinosaur film. Adam Driver is superb & works well with Ariana Greenblatt
Great flick!
literally a children’s movie
Adam Driver is very likeable but he can't save this overly simple, totally unchallenging scifi action movie. He's very good, I'll give it that. The movie has something, a certain sincerity. But its premise is poorly laid out, one or two mistakes are made, and it leaves you wanting less in 107 minutes, not more.
It’s not going to win any awards but it was a nice Thursday on a rainy night.
a great refreshing film with excellent acting. I'm just an average guy seeing this movie. easy 10/10 if you make your own opinion and don't listen to some random bum on the internet. go and make your own opinion and have a good time. That's what it's all about. Cheers
I throughly enjoyed this movie
The cast was great, but it was like the casting crew went out and found a great girl, and then the writers didn’t like her, so they gave her minimal lines and said, you speak a different language, have fun with that! She did a great job with what she had though! Movies ended abruptly! Ugh I hate that!!
A great movie with cast and acting
Completely blew away my expectations. It was entertaining
Makes a valid theory
Really good movie. Adam Driver stole the show and always does a great job! Fantastic cast and the story was wild!!
great story enjoyed this one! made me want to see movies every weekend now
Great Dino flick. My 10 year old and I both really liked it.
don't waste your time watching this movie!
Straight to the point and that’s what I love.
It’s wholesome in its own way.
Unfortunately it’s very boring with very little dinosaur action even.
My wife & I loved it! You can't go wrong with Adam driver! You must see it!
Beautiful story
The movie was really good
was ok ,over all decent movie
At first I was not hyped for it because the trailer wasn’t that interesting but with low expectations has help me appreciate the movie way way more the acting was great the action was little but intense the story was simple but simple is great I recommend it to everyone
really enjoyed overall, main character was sooo good (‘:
Worth seeing. Adam Driver is great. I don’t know the actresses name, she does a great job as well. Fun movie to see in the theater, much better than a lot of the garbage coming out lately.
The plot was weak
It’s alright!!!
Jurrasick park meets oblivion
loved the movie feel like I need another part for and ending
Not enough dinosaur’s tbh it was kinda a let down.
Great storyline. If you’re into sci-fi I recommend.
Who chose this dinosaur selection?
Covid movie.
I wanted to like this movie so much but it was SO slow
This was a fun movie but a little too much at the end.
Fun
cringe at its finest
It was decent
It had so much potential to be good, but the plot was so predictable! And it wasn’t unique. The visuals were beautiful tho.
The movie kept the family and I engaged
go on a cheap day. it was okay but I probably won't watch it again. audience was into it tho
great sci-fi. I expected a lot and it was better than I expected
It was a good movie for what it was, straight forward with a good cast.
Metacritic
There’s perhaps a kernel of a good film here, and a lead performance that’s better than it has any need to be, but shoddy execution, lazy world-building and a complete failure to capitalise on any of the potentially interesting threads that (perhaps accidentally) appear means 65 has less of an impact than the harrowing final episode of 90s sitcom The Dinosaurs.
65 is not good, if that even needs to be said. For something that involves almost nonstop dino action, it’s impressively unengaging, like watching a video game no one’s allowed to play. But its mangled badness is kind of compelling.
Now comes the loony, murky and muddled sci-fi action semi-thriller 65, with A-list star Adam Driver and the talented writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods (who collaborated with John Krasinski on “A Quiet Place”) taking a detour through B-Movie Lane in a film that isn’t compelling enough to make for silly popcorn entertainment but isn’t terrible enough to be labeled a disaster.
