this movie is an amazing biography of Jackie Robinsons early career in baseball. watching Robinson wipe the smirks off of everyone's faces also gives off a level of satisfaction that most movies aren't capable of doing.
Jim liked42Actually an uplifting movie. Doesn’t focus on the lows as much as the highs of Robinson’s career. Like, they never show a fault in the character, so you never feel uneasy. He’s portrayed as a perfect hero. RIP Boseman
Weasty liked4283/100. Such a powerful movie with great acting from Chadwick and Harrison. Just wish that they could have expanded past his first season and showed more of the effect that Robinson made: more African American players.

9/10 Seeing the hardships that faced Jackie Robinson as he built his career was interesting. It’s one of those things where you knew it was far from easy but actually seeing it changes how you think about it.
