Marvel’s Captain America just found himself a new blockbuster.

Chris Evans is in talks to join Paramount Pictures’ Infinite, a new potential tentpole thriller from Paramount Pictures, to be directed by Equalizer 2 helmer Antoine Fuqua, Deadline reported Tuesday.

The plot for Infinite, which is an adaptation of D. Eric Maikranz’s novel The Reincarnationist Papers, sounds kinda awesome: Evans will play Evan Michaels, a man cursed with the ability to remember two of his past lives. He stumbles upon the Cognomina, a secret society of people who are also able to recall their previous lives and have spent centuries using those abilities to influence and change events throughout history. Naturally, Michaels seeks to be their newest member. Paramount obviously sees huge franchise potential in this project, according to Deadline.

Transformers producers Lorenzeo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are attached to produce the film, along with John Zaozirny.

Evans recently completed work on director Rian Johnson’s upcoming Knives Out, an original murder-mystery set for release Nov. 27, 2019. The actor can next be seen in Avengers: Endgame, which hits theaters April 26.
