Phoenix Theaters Safety & Age Policy

AGE POLICY:

A child ticket is for guests 3 to 11 years old. A senior ticket is for guests 55 years and up.

Children under 17 are not allowed to attend R-rated motion pictures unaccompanied by a parent or adult guardian

Health & Safety Policies:  

Face Coverings / Masks

  • In theatres where state, county or local guidelines require, all guests will be required to wear masks in public areas of the theatre. Masks can be removed once seated in the auditorium to enjoy your food and beverage selections.
  • In theatres where state, county or local guidelines do not require masks… All guests will be strongly encouraged to wear masks while in public areas of the theatre.

Phoenix Staff Members

  • Health Checks: All employees will undergo daily health screenings, including temperature checks. Masks: All staff members are required to wear masks during their shift.
  • Hand Washing: All staff members are required to wash hands at least every 60 minutes or when necessary.
  • Hand sanitizing: All staff members are required to sanitize their hands at least every 60 minutes or when necessary.
  • Gloves: All staff members are required to wear gloves while working and will be required to change gloves at a minimum of once per hour or when necessary.

Lobby

  • Sanitization: All high-contact touch points (door handles, countertops, faucets, kiosks, railings, etc.…) will be cleaned with medical-grade sanitizing agents at least once an hour or when necessary.
  • Hand Sanitizer: Hand sanitizer stations will be strategically placed around the building for guest use.

Food and Beverage Service

  • Sanitizing: All counters, registers and other surfaces will be sanitized at least once per hour or when necessary.
  • Cash Transactions: In some locations, a designated line will be utilized for all cash transactions.
  • Protective Shields: All registers will have protective shields installed for guest and employee safety
  • Touchless Refills: All large popcorn, large soft drink and Annual Bucket refills will be completed by issuing the guest a new large cup and/or large popcorn bag.
  • Condiment Stations: Self-service condiment stands will be closed. Concession attendants will supply guests with condiments upon their request. All straws will be wrapped as well as silverware for guests.

Box Office Operations

  • Sanitizing: All counters, registers, equipment, and other surfaces will be sanitized at least once per hour or when necessary.
  • Cash Transactions: In some locations, a designated line will be utilized for all cash transactions.
  • Protective Shields: All registers will have protective shields for guest and employee safety
  • Tickets: Box office cashiers will tear tickets to help streamline the ticket-taking process. This will be done to eliminate multiple touches. Ticket takers will simply review and verify the ticket information.

Auditorium Seating

  • Occupancy: Phoenix Theatres will follow all state and local occupancy guidelines
  • Social Distancing: Social distancing protocols have been established within the auditoriums, based on occupancy, seating design and seat size as well as overall seat count.
  • Cleanliness: Auditoriums will be cleaned between each showing. Auditoriums will be sanitized completely at least once per day.

Arcade Games

If in use, all high-contact touch points on the arcade games will be sanitized at least once per hour or when necessary

Bathrooms

All high-contact touch points (faucets, handles, door locks, etc…) will be sanitized at least once per hour or when necessary.

Social Distancing

Management will be utilizing stanchions and markers to ensure social distancing in locations that would require a line to form
