Amazing news: In case you haven’t heard, Atom Tickets has now partnered with Eventbrite to offer local event ticketing! Not sure what to do this weekend after Independence Day festivities on the 4th of July? Not to worry – Atom’s got you covered. You can now search your Atom Tickets app under the Events tab for comedy shows, concerts, wine tastings, fun classes, and more.

We’re rolling it out in three cities to kick things off – Los Angeles, Boston, and Atlanta – and will be expanding to more cities in the coming months.

To help you in your search for cool things and events this holiday weekend, here are our Top 5 best events happening in LA this weekend (don’t worry, we’re doing one of these for Boston and Atlanta, too). You can get tickets to each one of these events with your Atom Tickets app.

1. Special Event All-Star Comedy with Tiffany Haddish, Dane Cook and More

Wanna see some of LA’s best comedians take the stage for a fantastic lineup of household names and up-and-comers? Head to the Laugh Factory on July 6th to see Tiffany Haddish, Dane Cook, and others hit up the stage in one of Hollywood’s most celebrated comedy clubs. Tickets run from $17-27 dollars.

2. See the City Sparkle: Spire 73 July 4th Celebration

Want to watch the fireworks sparkle and explode over LA? Head to Spire 73, the tallest open-air rooftop bar in the Western Hemisphere. The fireworks festivities will happen to the house DJ spinning tunes, along with plenty of appetizers, awesome fire pits, craft cocktails and bottle service (if you wish). The party runs all weekend, but of course, the best night will be Thursday, July 4th. Prices run from $10-40 (more if you select bottle service, obvie).

3. Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope with Cinespia

Never got a chance to see any of the OG Star Wars trilogy on the big screen? Now’s your chance. Cinespia’s fantastic summer series is back, and this time it’s heading to a galaxy far, far away. The Ford Amphitheatre will be showing A New Hope on Sunday evening. Tickets are $20-40 – a little pricey for a movie, but worth it to see the one that started it all in a real theater.

4. Hollywood Food & Drinks Walking Tour

Want to keep the 4th of July festivities going all weekend? Head to Hollywood for a walking tour of all the coolest restaurants and bars of the neighborhood, including some off-the-beaten-path gems and legendary local eateries. A note of caution: The tour will be about three hours so remember to bring comfortable walking shoes and hydrate! Tickets are $49.95 each and worth every penny.

5. I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Unauthorized Musical

Here’s something fun: Campy ’90s thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer as a stage musical. From the same mind behind Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical, this one is also sure to entertain with deep cuts and ’90s hits. Sing, scream and laugh as the cast recreates the movie, all set to great pop music.

Check back next week for new updates and events. In the meantime, check out the Events section on your Atom Tickets app!
