Atom User Reviews for Dune: Part Two
Lets just say this entire series will never be remade again as nobody could possibly measure up to this epic adaptation. This is best science fiction movie since 2001. You cant miss this. See in IMAX. I was blown away. 5 stars.
Long movie but you’ll be enamored by every minute of it
I’d say the movie was like one time watchable, because once you watch you won’t feel like watching it again.
Awesome. Enthralling the entire time. The audience sat in stunned silence for a minute at the end.
Not accurate to the book.Especially the ending
HOLY SH**. That was stunning! What an incredible movie experience. Dune was made to be seen in theaters!
very long, but worth it for the 2nd half. Definitely see it in imax!
So boring
First one was visually stunning, but was missing a lot of the story. This one definitely makes up for it.. only problem is right at the end they didn’t follow true to the book.. I won’t give it away but makes it feel awkward. Still great movie tho..
such an astounding movie. Such amazing creative direction with a phenomenal cast. the writing is top notch and great exploration of the characters and relationships and world building. The soundtrack just adds to the ambiance. what a fantastic sequel.
This Movie Was An Awesome Movie And Its Definitely One Of My Favorites From This Year
Dune Part ll is one the best film adaptations from book to screen. On top of that, it’s a marvelous cinematic achievement. It has a lot more action and very impressive visuals, so much so, that it can be overwhelming taking it all in, while keeping up with the plot and characters. On top of that, the soundtrack is phenomenal. All in all, this is a rich feast of a movie. The acting performances are exceptional, and Timothee Chalamet was by far the most impressive with his role, especially with what he had to live up to. It’s a movie of century, worth experiencing on the big screen!!
Feels like a spinoff version of Star Wars without the Skywalker storyline.
To much religious crap, the first one was great, this one was average.
It was not only one of the most visually pleasing movies I’ve ever watched, everyone was also very well casted and this movie once again sets it up perfectly for a third. Absolutely amazing.
Heck of a movie. Second time watching this and only gets better as I catch more of the cinematic qualities. This movie will be huge for a long time! May be the next Star Wars cinematic. 🤷🏻♂️
Strayed too far from the story
Better than part 1, best movie in a long time! Masterpiece
great film with good cast, and an incredible story
Great Movie 10/10 !
Visually refreshing; would have been great for a 2hr movie! Not a gripping screenplay.
Several Goosebumps!!
Beyond 10 stars. Absolutely speechless
The last fight was too short and some of the pacing choices didn’t flow but other than that the film comes very close to perfection
Dynamic film, but pace was slow.
Great adaptation of the Dune book. Some odd changes but I like it
One of the best movies of all time
Too many close ups of chalamet
Great movie better than part 1.
A True Spectacle
Better than the 80s version.
A great movie about cursed empires and poisonous beliefs.
It wasn’t for me
Too long and kinda boring.

Wow…
Tried to be complex, ended up being complicated/tedious. Let down from Part One

Metacritic
Villeneuve’s facility with this stuff doesn’t just come from his talent for spectacle, though there are set pieces in Dune: Part Two that aim to blow the top of your skull off.
Dune: Part Two is a spectacle to behold with an underlying arc that makes it more satisfying than a 2 1/2-hour bite of eye candy.
To his great credit, Villeneuve has followed through on the task he set for himself in Dune’s moody, enigmatic, and expansive first chapter: He now returns to the world he so painstakingly established, ready to orchestrate the grand-scale conflicts that are about to tear it apart.
