- When Yentl sings "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" her glasses are laid down in front of her. They have modern temple and ear pieces. In other scenes Yentl's glasses are the old-fashioned, wrap-around-the-ear-style glasses.
- Anshel's suit coat is buttoned as if it were a woman's coat. It's not a flipped shot; Avigdor is wearing a man's coat in the same frame.
- At the end, on the boatload of emigrants (right before Yentl sings from the stern) it shows a young Jewish girl reading Hebrew, and her finger is moving left to right as she reads instead of right to left as it should be.
