Synopsis
From legendary director Chuck Russell (A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, The Mask), Witchboard resurrects the '80's horror classic with a chilling new vision. In present-day New Orleans, a cursed artifact unleashes a vengeful witch, drawing a young couple into a deadly spiral of possession, temptation, and occult terror.

Haunted HippieFeb 8, 2026Mr. Whatsit from Stranger Things saves this one. It had some good gore-ish. This is no Terrifier though. It kept me interested throughout and it was kinda fun. I enjoyed this for what it was but I wouldn't watch again.

A fairly entertaining albeit not super original telling of the original Ouija boards. I liked the lead actresses and villain. Main girl did great with the character switch. Decent. Not a must see. But if you like the genre.

I liked the integration of the ouji board along the witch hunt story. The visuals were ok. It's a typical suspense storyline with the swap of the with hand the ordinary girl. Christian's ending is a bit ambiguous. It was an ok storyline with suspenseful visual effects.

If you're a moviegoer who desires smart, original horror, skip Witchboard. You're better off just watching Sinners or Weapons again.
