Sleeper.
this is a very important movie everyone should see
Definitely something I've never seen before.
Six stars if I could
Depressing in the best way
Beautifully shot, great cast, insightful, intelligent film
No penis please beggar
Disturbing and well done.
Beautifully shot. Strong performance by Jeremy Reiner; better fit than the action roles like Bourne and Avengers.
Wind River is a fantastic film from the opening scene to the credits, and you should definitely get out and support this film. If you are a fan of grounded crime dramas, this is a no brainer, and I’m also going to point you toward Sheridan's other movies, Sicario and Hell or High Water, which are both better than this movie and available for rent just about anywhere.
Examines perseverance, suffering, resilience, and the grief of men. Captures the forbidding Wyoming winter.
Best movie I've seen this year!
very well done. characters were spot on. Had some disturbing scenes that stay with you. saw it twice.
Slow
Based on true events; the unknown count of missing female Native Indians in America.
Metacritic
Taylor Sheridan’s flair for creating heartland epics is undimmed, but it’s hard not to wonder what someone with more directing chops, and the will to hit the accelerator, would have done with it.
The movie's strength is Sheridan's knack for vivid characterization through little more than casual remarks and consistent voices.
Sheridan knows how to craft a tidy whodunit – and a late-act switch in perspective works better than it should – but he eventually leans toward sermonizing instead of storytelling, a well-intentioned move that edges the story just this close to melodrama.
