Whitney tells her story in her own words with the help of family and close friends. We all hope she would get the help she needed but her true Leo self got in the way. A lot of questions were answered. Can’t deny that she was the voice with the gift since from above. We miss you Nippy.
I loved every minute of it‼️
So many like me Loved Nippy! It was great to see her true story be told, the truth in it's entirety. Money solves some problems but creates even more. She was human like us with a God given voice. The Voice, Whitney we will always love you!
Her death is still very touchy to me, but I appreciate how the story was told.
It shows you a thinly but revealing look about the life and death of an American Black Pop Icon who despite her universal epic career ...she never really got the love she truly deserved
We will always love Whitney!
Learned a lot about Whitney I didn’t know. Had me choked up a bit was trying to hold back tears
There was nothing, but a bunch of race baiting and a victimhoood narrative being played throughout the whole film. Absolutely trash. Most of the clips were straight off of YouTube
I loved the movie it was a great experience learning the real truth behind things!
Story was well told!! Whitney introduced me to music
We all have seen/heard the "Whitney" story on many platforms bu this move deals with the personal side of Whitney, untold like any other story I've heard thus far. Its real...its raw...and I believe its truth told by the closest ppl in her life which was her family. They didn't sugar- coat for the cameras! RIP Whitney!
I thought the movie was very in depth. I actually learned a lot about Whitney. Most times family is the worst to have on your payroll. Right, wrong or indifferent, Robin was definitely trying to direct her in a positive way
Heartfelt and simply good
cried tears of joy, love, and sadness for a talent and a woman gone too soon.
I love Whitney and it was nice to learn the life and history of such an amazing woman.
Good movie thumbs up!
Any die hard Whitney fan would love this film!
If you are a Whitney Houston fan you must see this film!
Very depressing! The film had way to many interviews. Everyone who they interviewed made Whitney look like she hated her life. Whitney had no joy ever after seeing this film. There was hardly any music to lift the film up. This film needed a lot of lifting up. This film is a disgrace to Whitney. Why can’t we remember her great voice and let her RIP? I would not have gone if I would have known this movie is so depressing! Sorry
Predictable but well done.
So sad that a great voice belonging to a troubled woman was lost forever to the excesses of money, drugs and human leeches. Although I only saw her once and it was during her time of turmoil, I will never forget that voice. Be at peace Whitney. The world is a sadder place without your wondrous voice.
this movie gave me a better idea of how Whitney was and all the demons she faced. I was sad when the movie was over. only because she is such an iconi who really didn't stand a chance at living.
Even if you're not a whitney fan, you will love this movie. This is one or the most beautiful movies of 2018 and you'll be glad you watched it. A definite oscar nod
This was nice to see, but in some instances hard to watch for me. Especially when it came to Bobbi Kristina. Finding out the things I did that Nippy went through was painful because it gave me a different outlook on her life and her experiences.
This was well planned, produced, unfiltered , honest and an eye opener
so sad to see her struggles.
I've been a fan of Whitney Houston since The Bodyguard, Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella on Disney and my high school days. I really loved that movie and I hope it gets nominated for an Oscar. #Whitney #ILoveYouWhitney I hope she gets inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame next year.
R.I.P. whitney. We love you.
Shocking
Family abused her in life and continue after death—sad!
Good movie. Miss & love Whitney
Metacritic
The main reason to see Whitney is the way it explores the baffling conundrums of her life.
Whitney is too funereal to be a party, too sad, strange and dismaying to cheer. Yet, in its grim, guilt-inducing way, the film works, even on the occasions when it’s working against itself.
