Sad tragedy of two gay infantrymen who are forced into heteronormative domesticity in order to keep their love for song and dance viable in '50s era Vermont.

All you need to know about me is once during a makeout in college I stopped and said “in ways, you are far superior to my cocker spaniel” because of this movie

5.8 - Am I a Scrooge for not loving this? It’s aesthetically beautiful - costumes and sets - & kind of sweet, & a few songs are fun. I don’t have too many strong detractors but overall, I just didn’t care that much. (Overlooking problematic elements as a product of the times.)
I kinda liked it but take everything I say with a grain of salt: Heartwarming, but not particularly Christmassy until the end. Entertaining in an old-timey sort of way but nothing outstanding about the story besides since overused tropes. Glad I watched it though not a new fav…

beautiful, classic and artistic portrayal of real people showing great acts of kindness despite the obstacles along the way. a christmas classic, and i shouldnt have expected any less from rogers and hammerstein 9/10
Visually it's amazing with bright colors, and all of it culminating in the end is great. Unfortunately, for the majority of the runtime, I didn't find this film interesting much besides what I first mentioned.

A classic song and dance musical from the golden age. Not the annual-must-watch that some may claim, but worth a watch once for cinefiles. Holiday Inn is much better.
Maybe it’s because I went in with pure scepticism but I really enjoyed this film. I’d watch it again - even if it’s beautifully predictable

Didn’t see theater would not let me in if I didn’t wear a mask; can’t wear one

It's a nice, if undemanding, Yuletide treat.
Everyone works hard at the business of singing, dancing and cracking jokes, but the stuff that they work with is minor.
