Seeing that final performance in theaters was everything. Every single person in that room was completely transfixed and silent for those like 10 minutes as we watched Andrew ascend to godhood and as we all ascended to another plane. And then everyone burst into applause as soon as it cut to black…that’s what cinema’s all about. Guy next to me had a stupid grin on his face as we were getting up and walking out and told me this was like his 20th rewatch. I feel like Fletcher seeing Andrew go nuts on the drums, my purpose in life is complete.
