Today my four year old son got his first Lego set. It was an Arctic Explorer's snow mobile. With eager anticipation we opened the package together and spread out all the pieces. My annoying adult instincts immediately took over, making me reach for the instructions.…
DirkHMay 22, 2018There's so much of you in this. I see you everywhere. In Max's anger and frustration, in his wonder and imagination. The undeniable loneliness we both felt through our parents divorce. I know you hated this movie cause it scared you, but I find comfort in the fact that…

LucyOct 29, 2021"When you go home, will you say good things about us?" "Don't go. I'll eat you up, I love you so" Carol howling and the rest of the wild things joining him. That beach scene broke my heart.
AleOct 16, 2015"This movie is really sad actually." How to destroy a seven year old. Even better than I remember it. Maybe because when I last saw it all I had was a one year old. And now I have an island. And three wild things. And I am the reluctant king in way over his head.

Why is everyone scared of this movie, I love it 😂😭 Always loved the book as a kid and was so happy when they made a movie. The vibes are immaculate. The soundtrack is *chefs kiss*

Top #1 oddly comforting movie. Rewatching it now as an adult than as a child and understanding the deeper message/meaning made it easily a 10/10.
