將一口自以為是的文藝腔台詞拿掉，影片時長可以縮減到90分鐘左右，但之所以會充斥這般裝腔作勢的口吻，很大一部分原因又是在於「偉光正」人民警察不能開槍殺人、不能暗中搞破壞或使離間計（除警察外所有角色都殺過人），換個角度想，中國電影裡的「警服／警察身份」就是個詛咒，穿上它，似乎就擁有了無上的威嚴，平民百姓退避三舍，同時也意味著什麼都幹不了、不能幹，與現實形成鮮明反差。於是只得靠匪幫內鬨走向自我毀滅，而老奸巨猾的首領也憂鬱青年上身，拿了錢不僅不走，還乖乖送上門「束手就擒」。其結果就是主角乜都唔洗做（髒活累活全讓其他人幹了），也沒受什麼傷，突然就破案了。…
