RIP to the girl who got jump-scared by her own glasses.
KyloFeb 9, 2026We already knew this trilogy was awful in every way possible, but the horrible prologue placed at the beginning of the film to try to disguise the fact that the last two chapters were the same film cut in two to try to make more money, or to see the saga's main threat die…

This film, just like the others, falls flat immediately. They try to keep your attention with depth into the strangers, but really, it keeps you bored. This whole trilogy could’ve been a single film.
Definitely had more to like than the first two, they took a swing and I’d say it was a solid single. Not too bad, but just good, not more. I enjoyed the lore they had behind the killers, but again, wrong franchise to be doing that. Definitely the most rewatchable of this trilogy.

Must watch the previous movies before seeing this one, starts right at the end of chapter 2. I like the backstories & reveals, but I prefer chapter 1 & 2. I wish they did more at the end, even though I understand the reasoning. Maybe a rewatch if I’m binge watching all 3 at once
It was fine. The backstories of each character were fine. But knowing who’s behind the mask just takes away part of what made the original so terrifying. (It’s literally called “The Strangers”. Keep it that way.)

wayyyy better than the 2nd one but they definitely lost the plot (that plot being that there was is no plot)
Love the franchise these weren’t as good as the originals, but still a cool unique backstory

this is the kind of movie you get if you let Joe Biden direct a movie
Wasn’t worth the wait

It’s easy to imagine the nihilistic avenues that Renny Harlin’s trilogy capper could have gone down.
The only thing Harlin has done here is to remove the element of surprise. Without that, the film is nothing, nothing at all.
Director Renny Harlin does his best to maintain the same level of slow-burning dread as he pulled off in the prior film, but it ends up feeling like a mundane, fly on the wall account of the average day at the office for the two surviving killers.
