This is like if the first 15 minutes of another horror film was stretched into a full length film in the worst way possible. These are the 2 stupidest people I've ever seen and they could have gotten away numerous times. Also the motive behind the killers was not at all explained like the trailers would have you believe and of course you have to wait till the next movie. If you don't actually have the substance to make 3 movies just make 1, save your money even WITH the T-Mobile Tuesdays deal. Not to mention the guy had an asthma attack for literally anything and the girl could not stfu to save her life LITERALLY 🤦🏻‍♀️

Don't listen to all the haters. It's a great movie for people who understand how pacing should work. Build up is great and even ends on a cliffhanger that could go multiple ways. Nice to have a horror movie that doesn't have to rely on gore. I honestly enjoyed it more than the other two Strangers movies.

This was not scary at all. Hardly any talking. No plot. It just a really waste of my time and money. Would not recommend.

Ruined a franchise

Honestly, I never leave reviews. That’s how bad this was. It started off good at first, but it was definitely rushed and needed to go slower. Then it got worse from there. I mean, I guess horror movies the actors are supposed to be stupid but in this movie honestly I don’t even think they have any brain cells because just the sheer stupidity of The actors was unbearable. Honestly was a disgrace to the horror, movie industry.

Almost the entire movie was predictable and it’s like you’ve already seen it, because you just know what’s going to happen next. Wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the best one of the franchise. I recommend it only because the killers make the movie feel as if it’s something that could happen in real life. The “trio” truly make the film! 👌

Overall when you know it’s a reenactment of an actual story it’s not bad. However I would have definitely just used my fire stick for the movie, if you know what I mean. ;) There was several times they prolonged scenes that didn’t need it. There was multiple times they could’ve gotten away and that’s why it’s sad they didn’t include the full story. It seemed very rushed towards the end and the fact they’re already releasing the “chapter 2” details proves it was. With all the effects nowadays I definitely would’ve thought they’d make it an actual horror film, not a creepy one. It could’ve been one movie and not a multi part.

I did not enjoy the movie at all, it was nothing compared to unsung hero or any other last few movies that have came out that we were given a reward for our T-Mobile Tuesday but as far as motion pictures yeah it wasn't good at all.

The director, Renny Harlin, is a competent and experienced hand, so there’s a sturdy workmanlike quality here but, more typically associated with bombastic action movies, he just doesn’t have the patience required to build real, clammy suspense or the awareness of the smaller specificities that are needed to immerse us in an intimate story such as this.
