Now I'm just hungry for sausages
James (Schaffrillas)Aug 27, 2021the taylor swift welcome to new york opening scene was the best thing about this movie

the ones who didn’t like this, clearly don’t have pets or like animals or even like to have fun
joJul 16, 2016This is already dated because it has a scene in Central Park and there weren't hundreds of berks trying to catch a Vaporeon.

This is a fun and lighthearted film about pets and what they do when there owners are gone, this film is unique and very sweet, the film has cool animation and is filled with cool characters or pets, the ending is good and this film is kinda enjoyable to watch, 6.5/10

idk why im randomly remembering all the animated movies i watched as an adolescent but this was actually decent for my standards at the time.
3. Comedic and family fun. Kinda drags within second act but enjoyed overall dynamic of all the animals and the fun they have.

i watched this as a kid and enjoyed it! it's a sweet story about accepting those around you for who they are. i loved seeing how the different pets live and learning their thoughts on humans. the playful animation and use of color were fun, and the ending scene makes me happy!
This movie was honestly sooo bad. 😭 it was painful to watch and wish I could’ve turned it off put my teacher put it on for us to watch in school. The plot was dumb, the humor wasn’t funny, the character designs are just straight up ugly. No redeeming qualities whatsoever

Kevin Hart killed Snowball's part❄️🐇
my 18 month old son loves it!
Metacritic
There are some funny-sweet observations about pets and our projections on to them. And the animation is expressive.... But the manic pace, piling on the action sequences, is exhausting.
Like the professional dogwalker who can’t exactly keep count of Max and his cohorts, it feels like the filmmakers are juggling too many chatty creatures at once, while trying to maintain a plot that tends to grow more outlandish as the story progresses.
The latest film from Chris Renaud (Despicable Me) and his team is a madcap caper full of densely-packed sight gags, dizzying action set pieces and a healthy side-helping of Renaud trademark silliness.
