The real truth or how corrupt the DOJ could be. great cast and awesome plot.
As a Donnie Yen vehicle that showcases the star’s still-amazing physical skills and moves at a pacy clip for almost two hours, The Prosecutor has the storytelling energy and visual panache to smooth over the rough spots.
With The Prosecutor we come for Donnie Yen and for the fights, and if we’re studying Mandarin, to bone up on Chinese legal arcana. Because God knows there’s a lot of dialogue to this thing. But at some point, all that starts to feel superfluous and in the end, boring.
While Yen makes sure to acknowledge that he isn’t as young as he used to be, such admissions prove needlessly self-effacing.
