Solid movie but not the masterpiece I was expecting. It felt like it could have been more suspenseful than it was.
This movie blew our expectations out of the water. Streep and Hanks were at their highest caliber. A big shout out to Bob Odenkirk for his portrayal without fallling into his typecast sleazy nature. Great slice of our mindedness history felt with tastefully.
This was a great movie!
Good movie. Great performances.
Good movie
Meryl Streep caught me off guard with her acting. i had to keep reminding myself she was playing a woman working in a man's world. also not enough Zachary Woods... loved him on silicone valley..
As a woman it was an extremely powerful film to see, an inspiring look at how far my gender has come in the eyes of society and a heartfelt reminder in the power and importance of a free press.
great seats and theatre at movie theater
I had a good time overall. Well acted and well paced.
You mean the Meryl Streep show? Yeah it was fantastic!
A perfectly structured film with a concrete story. Overall a great watch
very slow...must be my age
It wasn't terrible, but not worth seeing in theaters. The characters were hard to follow and the story slow to develop. It's worth seeing, but I wouldn't watch it again or waste money on it in theaters.
Hanks and Streep are absolutely in their element. Great story and pacing, but it's mostly dialog. Would recommend for anyone interested in the Vietnam war but maybe don't bring the kids.
This movie dragged for way too long and it just wasn't interesting at all.
Good story...never picked up steam
I ended up watching Star Wars instead
it is very relevant in this day and age
hard not to compare this prequel to all the presidents men. great too see this happen at this point in our history. I look forward to watching it again at home followed by all the President's men
admirable level of details and actors' astonishing acts
Brave and True!
I can see why this got nominated. Meryl Streep does a great job, but I would argue that Tom Hanks steals the show (or maybe I'm just partial to Tom Hanks). A feq things could have been better, but overall it was interesting and exciting and really well filmed.
stellar cast & acting all around - as usual, Spielberg doesn't disappoint
Absolutely fantastic movie, amazing jobs by both Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep.
Great movie! Best one i have seen in a while!
very slow. would be better without Ms Streep.
Great movie. Both Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks were amazing.
The movie shows why the original newspaper is important versus the internet. Alot of risks and playing your cards right gets you the story every time. It also highlights what women went through to be part of the business.
Loved it!
Must watch!
Solid movie, good watch but a little slow at times.
Very good movie! Deserves an oscar!
A bit of a slow start, but it only got better. GREAT ending!

The Post is the rare Hollywood movie made not to fulfill marketing imperatives but because the filmmakers felt the subject matter had real and immediate relevance to the crisis both society and print journalism find themselves in right now.
As a filmmaker, Mr. Spielberg invariably comes down on the side of optimism; here, that hopefulness feels right. It also feels like a rallying cry.
True, sometimes director Steven Spielberg lays it on so thick you think he has a trowel. Inspiring scenes are flooded with sunshine. John Williams’ score swells and kvells. (Of course, Spielberg didn’t become America's most popular director by being its subtlest.)
