Fun movie. Definitely worth seeing. Lots of action, and a few laughs.
If you want to see Tom Cruise do cardio then this is the movie for you!
A movie that goes beyond defying comprehension to being truly incomprehensible.
Weirdly out of place here, Cruise brings little daring and less charm to the film, though to be fair to the actor, his character's a stiff.
Everything about The Mummy strains solely towards setting up a franchise in a world which only makes sense to its writers.

- Len Wiseman was originally set to direct but dropped out before production began. Wiseman was then replaced by Andy Muschietti, but he also later dropped out due to creative differences.
- The Mummy's name, Ahmanet, is not a possible Ancient Egyptian name. The similar name Amunet, is an Ancient Greek version of the Egyptian name I-m-n-t. I-m-n means, roughly, the Hidden One, and Amunet, therefore means "the female hidden one," or "She of Amun" (a major Egyptian god). However, the name in this movie, Ahmanet, is not a possible name for an Egyptian.
- Jenny Halsey: Whatever's in there has been safely hidden for two thousand years. This isn't a tomb, it's a prison.
