Atom User Reviews for The Metropolitan Opera: Turandot
One of the Met's greatest productions. I have seen it live and in theaters many times. It is always a great opera.
This is a wonderful universal production. The South Korean tenor was amazing preforming Nessun Dorma.
The person who reported trouble with the broadcast is speaking for his theatre only. Ours was complete, and wonderful.
Puccini’s Turandot is probably the most perfect opera written!
Review reflects our theater experience, not the opera, which was an incredible production. With no explanation nor apology, our theater lost the live feed for 6-7 minutes in the 2nd act, and so we missed the 3 riddles! Very disappointing.
Mdme. Monastyrska was amazing in the title role, and the production continues to sweep me away even after nearly 30 years of having first seen the broadcast starting Domingo as Calaf.
WONDERFUL stunning sets and great performers. Long but very good. At the theater you see at intermission actors being interviewed and sets being made.
Can’t get to The Met. This would be your second option. Love it!❤️❤️
Our theater was perfect. The live broadcast was excellent. The host and guests before and during the intermission were phenomenal. It added a special touch to the presentation. The cast and musicians, sets, the performance and even the backstage crew were all amazing.
Wonderfully performed. Enjoyed every moment!
Wonderful production. Great seats at the Boro
gorgeous opera. epically terribly theater. started a live broadcast 20 minutes late. cut off feed 15 minutes before the end. theater-full of angry patrons and the staff did zilch. nada. #epicfail
