This fantastic 2006 production is one of the best of the Met HD series and I see it every time it's offered again, not only for the singing, but to be able to see those fantastic Julie Taymor costumes and puppets up close. This is not to be missed if you haven't already witnessed the magic.

Hearing it in English helped, but this is the first production where I could understand the plot/story at all. Yay! A bonus was the athleticism of some of the singers!

I'm so glad I was able to catch this show! It did not disappoint. The singing was incredible, but the costumes, set design and puppets were far more than I could've expected!
