Atom User Reviews for The Metropolitan Opera: La Traviata (2018)
An incredible experience not just for opera fans, but for anyone who is moved by music or a love story and can appreciate the best artists in the world performing at their peak.
Loved it! It's been years since I saw it at The Met, and this was a wonderful way to experience it! The interviews during the intermissions were great too!!
Best La Traviata production I ever saw
Excellent performance. Enjoyed every part of it.
Great production, magnificent voices. Diana Damrau's acting is almost as good as her singing. So happy to have Yannick at the helm!
Quite a different take to the La Traviate story. Much more intimate, drawing a greater preformance of Violetta character.
Absolutely loved it! Loved the whole main cast, but especially Quinn Kelsey.
Great designs and fabulous singing. Loved it...
Kelsey Quinn and Deanna were epic. Juan Diego not so endearing, but a fantastic performance altogether.
This is an outstanding performance, the best I have heard.
A perfectly lovely production with outstanding voices . Memorable on so many levels. KAG
It was a great love story about a woman trying to find love Music and voices were superb and their arrangements carried us through three acts: at the finish it appeared that most of us wanted more.
10 plus !!! Absolutely wonderful performance!!’
