It was horrible, the movie theater we watched it AMC Towncenter 20, didn't have the volume on for the first few minutes, someone had to go tell them and when it started playing it kept stopping more than 30 times. This happened too with The Nutcracker in December. Last but not least also for Cinderella, I didn't do my research before hand only to realize that the Prince role is played by a girl so it's a girl and a girl. It was horrible
The singing talent was great. But the story dragged. It took a long time to get from one part of the story to the next. Costumes were great, but I was disappointed in Cinderella’s dress. It was pretty but she needed more jewelry for her neck and wrists. Would have loved to see dancing at the ball instead of just standing around. Disappointed that a woman played the part of the Prince. In a story like Cinderella, the Prince needs to be ruggedly handsome because that’s the whole POINT of the Cinderella story. I was disappointed in the portrayal of Cinderella’s father. What a weak willed man…singing about Cinderella’s woes but not having the guts to do anything to take care of her, like his responsibility. So I give 3 points for the singing and costumes, but the story line sucked.
